Fluid Bed Dryer

Fluid Bed Dryer

The working principle of Fluid Bed Dryer addresses the fluidization of the ingredients. Consisting of a stainless-steel chamber, it reduces the moisture in the raw material and performs batch operations where the granules and ‘wet’ powder flow continuously.
The hot air moves through the perforated bottom and dries the granules. Thus, all materials get uniformly dried due to the hot air around them. Here, the solids behave as fluids as they flow through the changing air velocity. Meanwhile, proper fluidization is ensured through an appropriate pressure drop.
